Low-income families are able to purchase reduced internet access thanks to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to modernize its Lifeline program. The Taylor County School District has paid for students to have access to some web based programs for reading, math and science. Kindergarten through Fifth Grade Web Based Programs STEP 3: Viewing Homework– Use the Homework icon(s) in the “My Favorites” section to view homework posted by each teacher. In the “Add Favorite” dialog, you can select the students associated with the teacher. Click the plus button next to the calendar or teacher you want to add. When using these resources through a cell phone please be careful about your data usage so that you do not go over your data allotment and accrue additional fees. Some of the supports can be accessed over a cell phone that has access to the internet. Families will need access to a computer and to the internet. In order to facilitate learning at home the Taylor County School System has provided resources for parents and students to use at home. This process does not stop at school but continues at home.
